Who operates this site
Agency Profitability Calculator is a UK-facing B2B decision-tool site for agency operations and commercial planning. When a report enquiry flow is connected, privacy requests can be submitted by stating that the enquiry is a privacy request.
What data is collected
The site may collect calculator inputs and outputs, report request details, source page, UTM parameters, and limited technical context. Report requests may include name, email, company, website, role, agency type, team size, monthly revenue range, operating setup, report interest, operations or monday.com interest, biggest profitability concern, and consent.
Calculator data
Calculator results may be stored in your browser using localStorage so the result can remain available during the visit. If future persistence is enabled, anonymous or pseudonymous tool sessions may be saved to Neon Postgres without direct contact details unless attached to a submitted lead.
Report enquiry data
Submitted report request information is used to review the enquiry, understand agency operations fit, calculate a lead score where configured, route the request internally, and respond with next steps. Contact consent is required before submission.
Storage and processors
The site uses Neon Postgres for database storage. If configured, Resend may process internal lead alert emails, monday.com may receive lead details for operations follow-up, Stripe may process paid report checkout, and PostHog may process consented analytics events. These integrations are environment-variable gated.
Payment data
If Stripe Checkout is configured, payment details are handled by Stripe rather than this site. The site may store checkout session references, payment status, and report request context so manual fulfilment can be tracked.
Analytics and cookies
Essential browser storage is used for calculator results and cookie preference storage. Optional analytics runs only after analytics consent. Rejecting analytics does not block the calculator or form.
What analytics does not include
Analytics events should not include name, email, phone, company, website, or free-text operating problem details. Analytics may include route, event type, calculator value bands, lead score band, recommended offer category, and similar non-identifying product usage signals.
Retention
Anonymous or pseudonymous tool sessions may be retained for up to 12 months. Lead and report enquiry records may be retained for up to 24 months unless deletion is requested or there is a legitimate reason to keep a record for longer.
Deletion and export requests
Once a report enquiry flow is available, deletion or export requests should state clearly that the message is a privacy request. Include the email address used in your enquiry so records can be located.
